In Batumi in 2026 a bridal bouquet from a florist costs 150 to 600 GEL, a decorated ceremony arch from a wedding agency about US$415 to US$900, and full packages from two Batumi florist-decorators start at 891 to 1,485 GEL and go up to 2,970 to 5,670 GEL. A wedding in the mountains adds the drive: 200 to 650 GEL for a Batumi decor team to reach Tago.

This guide breaks the money down item by item (arch, bouquet, table flowers, rentals), names the florists and decorators who take weddings in Batumi and Adjara, and covers what a mountain venue changes: wind, a two-hour drive with fragile flowers, cold nights and the wild flowers you can use for free.

Which venue fits you, and what decor comes with it?

What you spend on flowers depends first on the venue: some hand you a decorated room as part of the menu, others an empty meadow and a mountain view. This table shows what each kind of venue brings before you call a florist.

Glamping Tago (our venue), Adjara

Village Tago, Khulo municipality, about 2 hours from Batumi. Whole camp for one wedding of about 30 guests, open from April to the end of October. Our team builds a natural-style arch for 1,500 GEL and dresses the tables and the event tent with local flowers and greens for 750 GEL (organizer guide).

What you do not pay for here matters as much as what you do. Tablecloths, linen napkins, plates, cutlery, glasses, tea lights, three kinds of candle holders, lanterns, haystacks for seating, a wooden photo frame, a welcome board and 28 glass bottles to use as vases are all lent free. The camp has 10 wooden tables, benches for up to 100 and about 20 wooden chairs, so a 30-guest wedding rents no furniture at all.

What do wedding flowers and decor cost in Batumi in 2026?

None of these Batumi decor teams include the travel to Tago in the package price, so ask for it as a separate line. The two complete florist packages are priced in US dollars (US$330 to US$2,100), so the GEL figures are about.

How much is a ceremony arch, and should you rent, buy or have it built?

A decorated arch costs about US$415 to US$900 from the wedding agencies, and 1,500 GEL when our team builds a natural-style arch by hand at Glamping Tago. A bare frame to dress yourself rents for 200 to 550 GEL.

A woman from the village dresses a wedding arch with white flowers and green leaves
Local women dress the arch with garden flowers and forest greens

What the agencies charge for a dressed arch:

  • Art Event Studio: US$450 for mixed live and artificial flowers, US$600 to US$800 for live flowers and greens, US$900 covered in fresh-cut flowers. Prices are for Tbilisi and Batumi; outside those cities the transport of flowers and the decorators' time on site are added.
  • Peony Events: from US$415 in its wedding-for-two package, from US$585 for its standard ceremony arch.
  • Kate&Co: basic ceremony decor from US$150, a full package with arch, tables, chairs and decor US$500 to US$2,500.

To dress it yourself, ETG rents a metal arch or a wooden one (2.29 x 1.7 m or 2.45 x 1.33 m) for 200 GEL, and Tiflis Decor rents one on Lookbook for 550 GEL. Both are in Tbilisi, so the frame travels the length of the country to reach Adjara.

At Glamping Tago local women from the village pick flowers and greens from their gardens and the forest, and the arch faces the mountains. Couples who want flowers rather than greenery on the arch say so in their mood board; the extra flowers come from Batumi.

What does a bridal bouquet cost, and which flowers are in season?

A Batumi florist charges 150 to 250 GEL for a simple bridal bouquet, 280 to 400 GEL for a standard one and 450 to 600 GEL for a premium one, plus 15 to 30 GEL for a boutonniere. Agencies charge from US$45 (Grand Tour, on request) to US$250 and up.

What drives the price is the flower, not the florist. The Georgian peony season opens in May and is over by the end of June, four to six weeks in all (Oasis Flowers); outside it, peonies are imported and priced accordingly, and nobody can promise you local peonies in September. Local peonies cost 5 to 15 GEL a stem and imported Dutch ones 25 to 50 GEL (Lovely Roses), and Dutch peonies need at least 7 to 10 days' notice.

Agency bouquet prices, for comparison: Be Loved from US$90 with a boutonniere, Lotus Wedding florists from US$95, Peony Events from US$75 to US$85, and Art Event Studio US$110, from US$150 and from US$250.

For the bouquet alone, a Batumi flower shop works as well as a wedding florist. FlowerStore.ge on Rustaveli Avenue sells bouquets from 100 GEL around the clock, and Lovely Roses in Tbilisi delivers to Batumi and Kobuleti for 95 GEL. Getting the bouquet from a Batumi florist up to Tago costs from 200 GEL, so have it ride with the decor team or the vendor car. If you are buying stems for a DIY bouquet, the Tita market at 71 Pushkin St and the wholesale shops at 158 Pushkin St are where Batumi florists shop.

What do table flowers and banquet decor cost for 30 guests?

For a 30-guest dinner, table flowers and decor cost about 750 GEL at Glamping Tago (local flowers and greens on the tables and in the event tent), 500 to 900 GEL from a Batumi banquet decorator, and US$500 to US$1,500 from Art Event Studio.

Art Event Studio prices a dinner for 15 guests at US$500 (three arrangements, a runner, napkins and candles) and for 50 guests at US$1,500, with single arrangements from US$70. Peony Events starts dinner decor at US$600, Violet Weddings sells a base decor package for its Batumi weddings from US$90, and Lotus Wedding's decorators start at US$490.

Most of what fills a table costs nothing at our camp: the tablecloths, napkins, glassware, tea lights, candle holders, lanterns and 28 glass bottles for vases are lent with the venue. What couples bring or order themselves is the special part: particular flowers, candles in glass, flower stands, garlands and a welcome stand. We buy back decor you bought for the day at 50% of its price.

Where do you rent chairs, arches, string lights and tents?

The rental companies with price lists are in Tbilisi: a Tiffany chair rents for 8 to 11 GEL, an arch frame for 200 to 550 GEL, and 20 m of outdoor bulb lights for 80 GEL. Delivery to Adjara is priced on top, by volume and distance.

For chairs, tables, tents, lighting and heaters as one order, Eventive Georgia in Tbilisi rents the lot and quotes delivery and installation by volume and location. A down payment secures the date, and you pay the full market value of anything damaged, so count what comes back.

In Batumi itself, Galogrea, a wedding dress house on Luka Asatiani St, also rents wedding decor.

At Glamping Tago you rent less. The main event tent (about 150 m2) is included, with a second tent for 1,000 GEL; string lights already hang in the yurt and over the tables, and we build the light poles for any plug-in string lights you bring. For more, our Lighting A package (warm string lights over the tent and tables) starts at 1,000 GEL and Lighting B (adds LED uplights and lit paths) at 2,300 GEL.

Flower shops for the bouquet and extra stems

For a bouquet, boutonnieres or extra flowers rather than a whole decor job, these Batumi shops are the practical choice. Order early and collect the flowers yourself on the morning you drive up.

What changes at a mountain venue: wind, transport, wild flowers, cold nights?

Four things: the arch has to be anchored, the flowers ride two hours up a mountain road, the evenings get cold, and the meadows give you flowers for free in the right month. Plan for each and a mountain wedding costs little more in flowers than a Batumi one.

A lit event tent on a grassy hill at dusk, mountains and a village behind

Wind. An open ridge catches more wind than a city courtyard. A 2.4 m arch needs a base at least 60 cm wide and 15 to 20 kg of sandbags on each corner, and you test the empty arch before the flowers go on; on a meadow, 30 cm metal pegs through the legs hold it best (Festivin). Tightly bound bouquets, low table arrangements and sturdy flowers (roses, eucalyptus, gladioli, calla) hold up; hydrangeas and peonies lose water fast in sun and wind and need hidden water tubes (Fleura).

Transport. The decor team drives from Batumi, 90.8 km on the Batumi to Akhaltsikhe road through Khulo, about 2 hours. The last stretch is a mountain road for 4x4 cars and minibuses only. A vendor car with our drivers costs 265 GEL one way or 530 GEL return, and a 15-seat minibus 410 GEL one way. Flowers ride upright in water in a cool cabin, never in the boot and never in a car parked in the sun, which can reach 40°C inside within 20 minutes (Turboflora).

Cold and rain. Days at Tago usually reach about 24°C in June and 22 to 25°C in September, but October nights drop to 5 to 8°C, and delicate flowers suffer below 10°C. Rain falls on about 14 days in June and July and 11 in August, so the rain plan is part of the decor plan: at Glamping Tago the tent walls close and the ceremony moves under the tent or into the yurt. Deep colours hide raindrops better than white.

Wild flowers. Rhododendrons flower on the Goderdzi slopes at 1,600 to 2,000 m in June and July, and bellflowers from June to August. Around Tago, local women pick from village gardens and the forest. Early August is the exception: few flowers are left in the village, so bring some or order them from Batumi and let the local greens fill the rest.

How do the flowers get from Batumi to the mountains?

The florist drives the 90.8 km from Batumi up the Batumi to Akhaltsikhe road to Khulo, then the last kilometres up to Village Tago, about 2 hours in all. Book the vendor car with us or let the florist drive their own van, and plan arrival for the morning of the wedding or the evening before.

  • Route: Batumi to Khulo is 85 km of asphalt on the Batumi to Akhaltsikhe road. From just before Khulo the road up to Tago needs a 4x4 (30 to 35 minutes); a normal car will not make it.
  • For a florist's van: the Skhalta valley road, turning off at Zamleti 4.7 km before Khulo and climbing through Cheri and Dzmagula, is longer but easier and suits normal cars and minibuses.
  • Last stops: the last fuel and cash machine are in Khulo, about 6.5 km before the camp. Transfers are paid in cash to our reception, never to the driver.
  • Vendor car: 4x4 for 4 seats, 265 GEL one way, 530 GEL return; minibus 410 GEL one way; Khulo to Tago 75 GEL.
  • What a florist charges: 200 to 650 GEL travel on top of the package.
  • Big buses: cannot reach the camp; plan the decor transport in a 4x4 or a minibus.

Do not follow Google Maps for the last part: drivers use Maps.me and the wooden Glamping Tago signs. Our how to get to Glamping Tago page has the full road description.

How do you plan wedding flowers and decor, step by step?

Fix the venue first, then what it lends, then the florist, and send your mood board 30 days before the wedding. In order:

  1. Book the venue and get the list of what it lends free (at Glamping Tago: tables, linen, candle holders, lanterns, haystacks, frame, welcome board, glass bottles for vases, tent). We welcome site visits at weekends, or a live video walk-through, so your florist can see the meadow and the tent.
  2. Decide what you really need: arch, bouquet, boutonnieres, table flowers, extra camp flowers, lights. Strike what the venue already has.
  3. Pick the season's flowers. Peonies for May and June, roses, eucalyptus and greens any month, local garden flowers from late spring.
  4. Ask two or three florists for a quote with travel as a separate line. Ask "live or artificial?" and who sets up and takes down. You agree the final price with each vendor and pay them directly.
  5. Send the mood board and the programme 30 days before the wedding. We quote extra decor and styling (from 1,000 GEL) from your mood board.
  6. Order imported flowers in time: Dutch peonies need at least 7 to 10 days' notice.
  7. Book the vendor car for the florist and the flowers, timed for a morning arrival.
  8. On the day: the arch goes up and is anchored first, tested empty, then dressed; table flowers go out last, out of the midday sun.

Flowers and decor for a mountain wedding at Glamping Tago

The whole camp belongs to your wedding of about 30 guests, and everyone sleeps on site. Our team builds a natural-style arch by hand, and women from Village Tago pick garden and forest flowers for the tables and the event tent.

The linen, plates, glasses, candle holders, lanterns, haystacks, wooden photo frame and welcome board come with the venue, so your decor budget goes on what makes the day yours. Send us your mood board 30 days before the wedding and we quote anything extra.

Meals are in Yurtalicious, the yurt restaurant on site, and the rain plan is built in: the tent walls close and the ceremony moves under cover.

Questions people ask

How much does a wedding arch with flowers cost in Batumi?

Agencies charge about US$415 to US$900 for a decorated arch: Peony Events from US$415, Art Event Studio US$450 for mixed live and artificial flowers and US$900 fully in fresh-cut flowers. A bare frame rents for 200 to 550 GEL. At Glamping Tago our team builds a natural-style arch by hand for 1,500 GEL.

How much is a bridal bouquet in Batumi?

A Batumi florist charges 150 to 250 GEL for a simple bouquet, 280 to 400 GEL for a standard one and 450 to 600 GEL for a premium one; a boutonniere is 15 to 30 GEL. Flower shops such as FlowerStore.ge sell bouquets from 100 GEL. Getting a Batumi bouquet up to Tago costs from 200 GEL.

Will a Batumi florist come to a mountain venue?

Yes, but travel is extra: Batumi decor teams charge 200 to 650 GEL to reach Tago, and none include it in the package. You can also book our vendor car, a 4x4 at 265 GEL one way or 530 GEL return. Plan a morning arrival or the evening before.

Can we bring our own arch and decor to Glamping Tago?

Yes. Couples bring special flowers, candles in glass, flower stands, garlands, a welcome stand and plug-in string lights, and we build the light poles. Send your mood board with the programme 30 days before the wedding, and we buy back decor you bought for the day at 50%.

When are peonies in season in Georgia?

Georgian peonies flower from May to the end of June, a season of four to six weeks. Local stems cost 5 to 15 GEL and imported Dutch peonies 25 to 50 GEL, with at least 7 to 10 days' notice. Nobody can promise local peonies in September.

Do we need to rent chairs and tables for a mountain wedding?

Not at Glamping Tago: the camp has 10 wooden tables, benches for up to 100 and about 20 wooden chairs, and lends linen, plates, glasses, candle holders and lanterns free. If you want Tiffany chairs, they rent for 8 to 11 GEL each in Tbilisi, plus delivery to Adjara.

What happens to the flowers if it rains?

At Glamping Tago the tent walls close and the ceremony moves under the tent or into the yurt, so the arch and table flowers go inside. Rain falls on about 14 days in June and July and 11 in August. Deep colours hide raindrops better than white, and roses and eucalyptus cope better than peonies or hydrangeas.

Can Glamping Tago host a bigger wedding?

It is built for about 30 guests who all sleep on site. Bigger weddings of up to about 100 guests work with the family guesthouses in Village Tago, which host the guests who do not sleep at the camp.
