Our stay at Glamping Tago in Georgia was an incredible experience from beginning to end.
Getting to the camp was smooth and hassle-free. The only small challenge was the final stretch of the forest road with its winding switchbacks, especially for those who are not fond of mountain roads. Other than that, everything went perfectly. Our friendly driver, Oto, was waiting for us at the airport ahead of time, and meeting him was easy and stress-free.
Communication with the coordinator, Nelly, and the rest of the team was always exceptionally fast, friendly, and seamless. We arrived at the camp at around 2:30 a.m., yet the team was there waiting for us despite the late hour. They helped us with our luggage and even prepared a warm cup of tea, which was incredibly thoughtful after a long journey.
We came for a yoga retreat, and the entire property offered a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The camp, toilets, and showers were spotless every single day. The beds, duvets, and towels were fresh, clean, and pleasantly scented. The bathrooms were stocked with high-quality soap, shower gel, and shampoo.
We also greatly appreciated the laundry service. The team kindly washed and dried our clothes, and everything was handled effortlessly and without any issues.
The food deserves a special mention—it was truly a culinary experience. Every meal was beautifully prepared, the vegetables were perfectly seasoned, the cheeses were delicious, and the homemade lemonades were refreshing. We also loved the cakes, popcorn, and other treats. We barely noticed that no meat was served at the camp because every dish was so flavorful, creative, and satisfying. Absolutely delicious!
During our stay, one of our group members celebrated a birthday, and the coordination team surprised us with candles and a homemade birthday cake. And what a cake it was—absolutely amazing! Small gestures like this show how much the team genuinely cares about their guests.
Communication with Nelly, Alewyn, and Mari throughout the retreat was always friendly, professional, and kind. They went above and beyond to accommodate any request and were always ready to help with questions or concerns.
The program was diverse and thoughtfully organized. We baked traditional treats, hiked to a beautiful lake, visited the town of Khulo, explored the stunning surrounding nature, and took trips to the village of Tago. One of the highlights was the traditional Georgian supra experience hosted by a local beekeeper. I cannot recommend this enough—it was one of the most memorable experiences of the entire trip and a wonderful opportunity to experience Georgian culture, hospitality, and traditions firsthand.
We practiced yoga every morning and evening, either on the outdoor platform with breathtaking mountain views or in the cozy indoor studio. The camp is very well equipped, with high-quality yoga mats, wooden blocks, straps, and meditation cushions available for guests. Practicing yoga in such a beautiful setting was truly unforgettable.
The entire retreat was filled with peace, relaxation, amazing food, and days full of meaningful activities. And whenever a small issue arose, Nelly and the team were always there to resolve it quickly and effortlessly.
Glamping Tago is a magical place that somehow found its way into my heart. I left feeling rested, grateful, and filled with wonderful memories. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their warm hospitality, outstanding care, and for creating such a special experience.
I would love to return one day, and I wholeheartedly recommend Glamping Tago to anyone looking for a unique combination of nature, tranquility, authentic cultural experiences, and genuine human connection.

This was the highlight of our entire trip.
Unfortunately, we only had time for two days,
but we could have easily stayed for the whole week.
Beautiful location, excellent accommodation and warm,
kind-hearted and professional staff. Oh, and the food is cooked by Local Mothers — so you know it’s good!
The tent/yurt sauna with a wood stove and cold water basin, along with the campfire were among the highlights — perfect gathering spots for conversation and connection.
And when you get up in the morning to wash your face,
you're greeted by this amazing view.
Good things tend to attract good people, and this camp is proof of that once again.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming — it truly felt like home. The place is spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The views are just breathtaking — you can sit and stare for hours.
We stayed in one of the tents, and it was such a lovely experience — clean, warm, and full of charm. 🥰There’s a heater and a wood-burning stove inside, and the scent of the firewood adds such a cozy, comforting atmosphere. Everything smelled fresh and pleasant.💞
It’s not just a place to eat or stay — it’s a feeling. And I have to mention Nina, the hostess — she’s simply amazing. So warm, attentive, and full of positive energy.💔💔💔

This place is simply wonderful!
Surrounded by breathtaking nature, peaceful silence, and stunning views — it’s the perfect escape. The sauna is an absolute delight, especially with the serene mountain backdrop.
The service is exceptional — warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they surprised us with a homemade banana cake. Such a sweet and memorable gesture!
The food is another highlight: simple, flavorful, and vegetarian, with a beautiful Georgian twist. Every dish felt comforting and made with love.
A truly magical experience. Cozy, soulful, and beautifully designed — a place we’ll definitely return to.
