Anastasiia & Artem
A four-day mountain wedding for 35 guests with the whole glamping to themselves: a blind-tasting picnic, vows under a green arch on the hill and a Georgian supra at sunset.
Dreaming of a wedding like this?
“Still can't believe that it was for real, not just a magic dream!”
Anastasiia and Artem wanted their wedding to feel like a long weekend with friends in the mountains, not one evening in a banquet hall. They chose Glamping Tago, a mountain wedding venue in Georgia, and booked the whole glamping from 3 to 7 September 2025 for 35 guests, including a four-year-old.
Planning it together
We planned everything over three video calls and one shared wedding brief that we updated after every call. The couple sent their ideas, and we answered with photos, measurements and a 3D model of the event tent, so they could place all nine tables before they arrived. Guests came by plane and by train, so we matched every transfer to an arrival time.
How the days ran
- The day before: the couple and a few close friends arrived early to settle in and set up.
- Arrival day: three transfers brought everyone up from Batumi: one from the city after breakfast, one from the airport and the railway station, and a jeep for a late flight. Every tent had a wooden number, so each guest found their bed without asking.
- A picnic day: a slow brunch, then a picnic on the meadow with a blind tasting: small bites to guess by taste and smell, followed by a long lunch together on blankets and carpets.
- The wedding day: a light pasta lunch so nobody said their vows hungry, the ceremony under a green arch on the hill, and a Georgian supra under the big tent as the sun went down behind the mountains. The dancing went on long after dark.
- The last morning: breakfast, goodbyes and transfers back down, including a 6 am car for one guest's early flight.
Their ideas, our hands
The couple came with their own ideas and our team built around them. We made a wooden photo frame from planks for the party, saved 28 bottles for them to spray gold and use as vases, and our driver tracked down big eucalyptus branches at the market in Batumi. White tablecloths with a runner down the middle kept the wooden tables visible, the way they had imagined it.
The moment
The forecast said rain all week. The wedding day came clear and warm. And a few weeks later the couple wrote to ask for the recipes of our granola and banana bread, so they could have "a piece of Tago taste" at home.
What we made happen
The whole glamping for four nights
Every tent, the restaurant yurt and the event tent for the couple and 35 guests, with a pre-arrival night for the closest friends.
Three transfers timed to flights and trains
Minibuses from Batumi city, the airport and the railway station, a jeep for a late flight and a 6 am car for an early one on the way back.
A wooden number on every tent
So guests found their beds from the guest list, without a single question.
Tables planned in 3D
We modelled the event tent so the couple could place all nine tables before arriving.
A blind-tasting picnic
Small bites to guess by taste and smell on the meadow, then a long lunch on blankets and carpets.
A Georgian supra for 35
Nine tables set three by three, khinkali, house Manavi and Saperavi, and homemade lemonade for guests who didn't drink.
A safe menu for a nut allergy
A close family member has a strong nut allergy, so the only two dishes with nuts were clearly marked on the table.
Their decorations, made on site
A wooden photo frame, 28 bottles saved for gold vases, eucalyptus from the Batumi market and table runners on white cloth.
Games for the evenings
Chess, backgammon, cards and board games, and hair dryers ready in the bathrooms.
A photographer and day trips on hand
We introduced a Russian-speaking wedding photographer and shared canyoning at Uchko for the free days.
What guests said
We are absolutely happy. It was amazing, unbelievable and fantastic wedding! Your place is super warm, with very kind people. Still can't believe that it was for real, not just a magic dream!
We had an almost non-alcoholic wedding. We were drunk from pure love.
We still have such warm and joyful memories of our wedding celebration at your glamping.

Questions people ask
Can we book the whole glamping for our group?
Yes. Groups can take every tent, the restaurant yurt, the sailcloth event tent and the yoga spaces for themselves, so there are no other guests on site. Larger groups add rooms in the village guesthouses nearby.
How many wedding guests can stay at Tago?
Around 35 guests sleep at the glamping itself, in lotus tents, the dome and the dorm. For bigger weddings we add rooms in the village guesthouses a few minutes away.
Can you handle allergies and special diets?
Yes. Tell us early and the kitchen plans around it: vegetarian and vegan menus, and dishes with allergens clearly marked, as we did for a strong nut allergy at this wedding.
How do guests get to Glamping Tago?
Tago is in the mountains of Adjara, about three hours from Batumi and four from Kutaisi airport. We arrange minibuses and jeeps timed to flights and trains. The last stretch of mountain road needs our minibus or a 4x4; guests driving a normal car can park in Khulo and we pick them up there.
