Unplugged: A Phone-Free Autumn Retreat in the Adjara Mountains
Put the phone down and see what the week feels like without it. At the opening circle, all devices are collected: phones, laptops and smartwatches. They come back at the closing circle on the last morning. In between, there is forest, mountain air and time that belongs to you.
The days follow a gentle rhythm. Mornings start with meditation and yoga. Through the week there are talks on attention and phone habits, guided autumn hikes (including an easy walk to Otsinari lake and a longer meadow day with a packed lunch, with a shorter option), and a sharing circle. Every evening ends with sauna and an ice bath, or a campfire. Near the end of the week, the group builds a wooden sculpture together, then burns it in a big fire after a feast dinner. Everything is optional, and no experience is needed.
This retreat suits people who live in Georgia and want a real pause, especially those whose work keeps them on a screen. Many guests come solo, and the group is small, up to 15 people. Jonas leads the stay together with a facilitator from a yoga studio in Batumi.
The resort sits at the forest edge, about two and a half hours from Batumi. You sleep in a mountain-view tent. Yoga happens on an open-air wooden deck under a sailcloth roof, with a heated dome as the cosy backup if the weather turns. All meals are included, cooked by village staff.

Your host, Magdalena
Jonas is the founder and operator of the glamping resort where the retreat takes place. He looks after the logistics, the site and the guest experience, so the days run smoothly and you can simply be there. He co-hosts the retreat with a facilitator from a yoga studio in Batumi.
Hosted at Glamping Tago
Every event here happens at our own mountain venue above Village Tago: forest-edge tents, a yurt restaurant, a dedicated yoga shala and a wood-fired sauna.
