Fire, Dance & Community: A Spiritual Gathering in the Adjara Mountains
Some gatherings are built around a teacher. This one is built around a circle. For a few days in the Georgian mountains, a group of up to 35 people comes together to celebrate through ceremony, ecstatic dance, live music, and sacred fire. The whole property at Glamping Tago is yours alone, which means the forest, the open-air yoga platform, the yurt, and the campfire all belong to the group. There is room to move freely, cook ceremonial cacao in the kitchen, and settle into the unhurried rhythm of communal living.
Each day has a shape without being rigid. Mornings open gently with breakfast and ceremony. Afternoons build toward the main event of that day, whether that is a sound session, the central fire ceremony, or a grounding evening around a local BBQ. Every night closes at the sacred campfire, a place to integrate whatever arose and simply be together. The final day slows right down: rest, quiet, and a live concert before the journey home.
This retreat is for people who find meaning in music, who are drawn to ritual, and who want to feel genuinely held by a community rather than just attending an event. You do not need prior experience with ceremony or somatic practice. You need only a willingness to show up and participate.
Glamping Tago sits at the forest edge in the Adjara mountains, a short drive from Tbilisi by shared minibus. The tents face the mountains. The yoga platform is large, open on three sides, and built for exactly this kind of gathering. The setting does a quiet but real amount of the work.
