Morning Practice, Mountain Air: A Yoga Retreat in Adjara
Tucked at the forest edge of the Adjara mountains, this retreat offers a week to slow down, move well, and breathe deeply. Each day follows a gentle rhythm: morning practice to open the body, a workshop session to go a little further, and an evening practice to close the day. Meals are shared together, breakfast and dinner prepared on site, so there is nothing to organise and nowhere else to be.
The group is small by design, no more than fifteen people, which means the teaching stays personal and the atmosphere stays easy. Sessions take place on the open-air yoga platform, a generous sprung wooden deck under a sailcloth roof with the mountains on three sides. If the weather turns, the heated yoga dome is right there: smaller, cosier, and perfectly suited to the group.
Accommodation is in lotus belle tents, each with its own mountain view, along with a half-dome family space for those who prefer it. The property is taken over entirely by the retreat, so the pace of the week is yours to shape. There is a sauna and cold plunge on site, forest paths leading out from the grounds, and the particular quiet that comes from being somewhere genuinely remote.
This retreat suits anyone who wants a real break alongside a committed practice. You do not need to be an advanced student, only willing to show up each morning and see what the week brings.

Your host, Alex
Alex leads a yoga collective based in Prague with an active retreat programme that takes groups to destinations across Europe and beyond. Organising retreats at this scale, from logistics and accommodation to the shape of each day, is work Alex knows well. This is the second consecutive season Alex has brought a group to Glamping Tago, which says something about how the week tends to go.
Hosted at Glamping Tago
Every event here happens at our own mountain venue above Village Tago: forest-edge tents, a yurt restaurant, a dedicated yoga shala and a wood-fired sauna.
