IT Soul Camp
Nikita's camp for people who work in tech keeps coming back: from 8 people in 2023 to the whole glamping for 34 guests in June 2026.
Planning a retreat like this?
“Thanks again for wonderful service! I'm happy that everything went very well!”
Who they are
IT Soul Camp is a retreat for people who spend their working days in front of a screen. It is run by Nikita, a software engineer who wanted a few days where developers, designers and founders could switch off, move their bodies and talk to each other face to face.
A camp that keeps growing
Nikita first came to Tago with a group of 8 in the summer of 2023. He came back again and again. In August 2024 a group of 11 stayed for five nights, which is the camp in these photos. In June 2025 there were 25 people. In June 2026 the camp took the whole glamping, with 34 guests.
A day at camp
In Nikita's words, every camp follows the same simple rhythm: morning yoga, a hike, evening body practices and the evening by the campfire. The yoga happens on the meadow in front of the tents, with the mountains straight ahead. The hikes start at the door. Dinner is a vegetarian buffet at long wooden tables, and the nights end around the fire or under the stars.
What we do for them
Every camp brings its own small requests, and our team makes them happen. For the 2025 camp that meant wooden "magic sticks" for the first bonfire, white sheets and a board for painting the camp flag, a pole to fly it, and a notice board by the dorm for stickers and pins.
What's next
Nikita now co-hosts our Digital Detox week, seven days in the mountains without screens.

Questions people ask
Is Tago a good fit for a tech or startup retreat?
Yes. There is Wi-Fi for the hours you need it, and nature, yoga, hikes and a campfire for the hours you don't. IT Soul Camp has come back every summer since 2023.
Can we book the whole glamping for our group?
Yes. Groups can take every tent, the restaurant yurt, the sailcloth event tent and the yoga spaces for themselves, so there are no other guests on site. Larger groups add rooms in the village guesthouses nearby.
How do guests get to Glamping Tago?
Tago is in the mountains of Adjara, about three hours from Batumi and four from Kutaisi airport. We arrange minibuses and jeeps timed to flights and trains. The last stretch of mountain road needs our minibus or a 4x4; guests driving a normal car can park in Khulo and we pick them up there.
