Duration: 2h
Difficulty: Easy
This short hike is perfect if you’re staying for a brief visit and want to enjoy the natural surroundings of the glamping area without challenging walks. You can take a great picture on the rock, enjoy a pleasant walk, admire the beautiful scenery, and rest on a picturesque hill among camomiles and other flowers.
Strolling at a relaxed pace, the walk will take around 2 hours. This includes time for taking photos and enjoying a brief rest on the hill.
The path is mostly wide and safe. However, there are some sections where the path narrows, or you need to pass through ferns or tall grass. Overall, the trail is easy and safe.
Any comfortable clothing and footwear will do.
Since the trail stays close to the village, encountering wild animals is unlikely. However, if you do, please follow the general guidelines we’ve posted here.
You start the hike by walking down a path on the hill below our lowest tents. This part is especially beautiful in spring and early summer, as you will walk through blossoming flowers and can take some very nice photos.
You then enter the village and walk until the road splits.
Here, you need to turn left and continue down the road until you see a road sign for Glamping Tago. At this point, you will see three roads; follow the one going to the right and down.
Continue through the village, and soon you will reach another crossroads where you need to choose the path to the right, going up the hill.
This is the beginning of the trail. The forest path will take you up, offering nice views of the mountains. You can hear the river below from here and take great pictures from the open areas. Soon, you will cross a small waterfall and can even drink water from a spring here.
The road continues, but at some point, there will be a tiny path leading to the left. Check the location on maps.me. At this point, you can take breathtaking photos. There is no need to risk, especially if you are afraid of heights. If you choose the right angle, you can take a cool photo on the first rock with absolutely no risk.
After taking great pictures, return to the main road and continue walking. This is not the end.
You will soon reach a standalone house. Turn to the right, leaving the house on your left, and walk up the green path to the forest. You will see two big rocks and pass by an old house.
Keep going into the forest, taking the path up and to the right. The road will turn into a narrow forest path, and soon you will reach a nice field, blossoming with camomiles in summer.
Take your time to enjoy the views, take photos, and then retrace your steps to return.
