Introduction
Hey everyone, the new season has started and I am super excited! We are already in full swing to get the Glamping 100% ready and make it even better than last season.
For those of you who are short on time, here is the summary:
Right now we have already made some improvements, we’ve improved the sauna, finished our new bathrooms under the dorm and started with the construction of another block that will have outoor showers! So get ready to shower under the open sky (yes there will also still be indoor ones as well) ;). Next to that there is a new Sailcloth event tent on the way with the capacity to hold events up to a 100 people (will arrive by the end of June)!
We’re also saying heartfelt goodbyes to some amazing team members (Julia, Kiril, and Anna) but welcoming fresh faces like Irakli (our new manager) and Giorgi (our marketing wizard). Plus, Alewyn’s back as our yoga teacher and receptionist!
Quick update on the business
Okay an honest look at how the Glamping is doing. Last year brought some unexpected challenges – the cable car maintenance, a powerful storm, and early October snow. So it was tough… But the most important thing is that we got through it, and learned a lot along the way!
Now for the next season, we’re facing new dynamics: increased competition (always welcome), inflation, and some uncertainty about the country’s direction. All the above gives me more energy to go harder, to be more creative and to keep pushing to create the best experience in Georgia (and beyond).
So yes more challenges will come our way but together with our team I am ready to take them on, head first!
The new season looks promising. With our amazing new team, tons of improvements in the pipeline, and bookings already flowing in, this season is on the way to be our best yet!
Farewells
Kiril & Julia
While we knew this day would come, it’s still a bit sad to see them go. For a year and a half, we’ve had Julia and Kiril by our side, and they truly took care of the Glamping like it was their own. We couldn’t have wished for better people! It was an honour to get to know them and work with them for the past year and a half!
The good news is that we are still in very close contact, and Kiril will be assisting remotely! So while they won’t be at the Glamping anymore, they are not completely gone.
Anna
Many of you might not know Anna, who has been working behind the scenes as our marketing manager. She’s been with us since before we opened—almost four years! We’ve been through countless highs and lows together, and she consistently went above and beyond what was expected. Not only did she excel at her work, but she also provided invaluable emotional support when needed. I’ve watched Anna grow over these years, and I’m incredibly proud to announce that she’s starting her own company!
Thank you, Anna! I can’t wait to see what amazing things you’ll create in this world!

Improvements
1. Improved Sauna -> Our sauna now fits 15 people, includes a steamer, and has two levels!

New power team
We are starting this season with an absolute power team. With these three by our side amazing things will happen this season, so stay tuned!
Irakli Dondua – Manager
It was quite a search to find the new manager for the Glamping, but after a couple of months, we found the ideal candidate: Irakli! He’ll be spearheading the Glamping for the next season (and hopefully many more). Why did we choose Irakli? He has run a successful restaurant in Tbilisi, so you can expect even better, more delicious food. Additionally, Irakli has been part of the holistic and wellness community, having been on retreats himself quite often. So he knows exactly what is needed to create an outstanding retreat. While we just started working together, I’m already impressed by his proactiveness and professionalism.
I can’t wait to see what we’ll create together in this season!
Giorgi Asanidze – marketing manager
You might have noticed that we’ve started posting again after our winter break – that’s the work of Giorgi, our new content wizard! With his creative eye and passion for storytelling, Giorgi has joined our team to help showcase the Glamping to the world in new and exciting ways. He’s especially talented in video editing, and we can’t wait to see what masterpieces he’ll create for our community.

Guess who’s back? Alewyn!
Do you remember Alewyn from our last newsletter? I have good news: he’s back! Not just as our yoga teacher, but also as our receptionist (and more). I’m truly excited, as Alewyn is one of the most good-hearted and reliable people I know—a rare combination. Alongside reception duties, he’ll keep running morning yoga on his off-days, and will assist Irakli in the kitchen, since he has lots of kitchen management experience too!
Co-working week
This April, we started a new tradition at the Glamping with our first co-working week. For five days, we turned two of the lotus tents into quiet work spaces, shared meals, did yoga together, and took time to enjoy the beautiful Georgian mountains.
With good internet, a sauna to unwind in, and plenty of good company, the week felt productive and relaxed. People had space for deep work, but also time to connect and explore.
We’re happy to announce that co-working week will now happen every April and October. The next one is planned for this autumn, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Events: new possibilities!

Finally, we are ready to host bigger events—especially now with our beautiful new sailcloth event tent. In the past, we didn’t have the mental space or energy for large gatherings, as there was always something urgent to handle.
Now, I feel the Glamping is truly ready for this next chapter. With our new equipment and amazing team, we can’t wait to welcome more special occasions. Last year, we got a first taste by hosting our very first wedding, and it was absolutely magical. That’s when we knew we wanted to create this experience for more people.
This summer, we already have three weddings planned—exciting times ahead!

Save the date: Tago fest
Tago Fest is back! Last year, we experimented with a mini festival at the Glamping and loved it so much that we’re doing a second edition this summer.
Tago Fest is all about happy mountain vibes. You can expect funk and disco on the first day, with ambient and live performances on the second. There will be outdoor games, kites, art installations, and much more.
